Hi, I'm Olivia!

I’m a firm believer in long walks, enjoying the sunset, reading “just one more chapter,” and always saving room for dessert.

My Story

The Foundation

I didn’t grow up with a strong understanding of what balanced, nourishing eating looks like. While I enjoyed a wide variety of foods and was always open to trying something new, the staples in my diet were:

  • Sugary cereal

  • Granola bars

  • Boxed macaroni

  • Frozen meals

These foods lacked the balanced nutrition my body needed.

A New Beginning

My own journey with a nutritionist began in high school, when I started experiencing chronic health challenges:

  • Persistent fatigue that made it hard to get out of bed

  • Brain fog so bad I could read the same page over and over and not remember any of it

  • Ongoing digestive discomfort- bloating that never seemed to end

I worked with a functional practitioner and a nutritionist, who discovered that chronic mold exposure, hypothyroidism, and hormonal imbalances were driving my symptoms.

Throughout my healing journey, meal planning and adapting recipes to support both my own needs and those of my family led me to discover that nutrition was my passion.

I faced many obstacles along the way, learning that healing isn't linear. Struggles with severe acne, histamine intolerance, and gut dysbiosis presented additional obstacles.

Today, I combine my personal experience with evidence-based strategies to help others make sustainable, effective dietary changes that support long-term health and well-being.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition from Colorado State University and my Master’s degree in Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport. I am currently an intern at The Nutrition and Herbal Collective and a candidate for the Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) credential.
